I was talking to the Head of Audiology today about our company's programming software. In the conversation, he dropped the term, "quantize".
"Quantize"? It sounded fake, so I called him on it.
Apparently, I was wrong. It's a word.
I never said I was a scientician :).

I would have guessed it had something to do with quanta, but....does that really make it a word in the *real* world?
