I couldn't let this go without saying something...

Saniflo is a company that sells "macerating toilets" and "grey water pumps" to people who want to install an additional toilet in a location of their residence where they weren't necessarily intended to go.

According to the website, you can install a bathroom in the "laundry room or kitchen, anywhere it's needed!"

I'm sorry, did you say "kitchen?" Yes, there's nothing classier than having someone take a dump in the same room where you handle food and prepare meals.

Although, my favourite is how the company describes the inner workings of the macerator: "When [the human waste and toilet paper is] mixed with flushing water, the waste is pumped into a sanitary sewer as a fine slurry."

Slurry: Best. Word. Ever.

Yes, I have the sense of humour of a six-year old :).

Andrew was considering getting one of those for the basement. Fortunately, there's already a bathroom there, it's just that the toilet wasn't really the best or best-fitting choice.

Sadly, my juvenile mind can't read about the macerating functions without thinking "Nom nom nom". :)
