So it's official. The Golden Globes have been cancelled, to be replaced with a "news conference"-style awards presentation.
I'm hoping this will herald a new era in how award shows are broadcast.
Next on the chopping block: The Academy Awards.
(Yes, Oscar, I still haven't forgiven you for overlooking Denzel Washington for Best Actor in Malcolm X but then giving him the award for Training Day).

My hope is that the oscars will get the go ahead, if not, the couture designers of the world are going to take a hit...where will they send all the pretty dresses and shoes..where!?!
(They Could send them to me, I would wear a new one to the library every day)
