A friend of mine has the following Douglas Coupland quote in her Gmail signature:
"There's a fine line between Christmas decorations and insanity."
These words never rang truer for me than when I walked into work today: The company that owns the building put out their Christmas decorations this weekend. They are all in the same colours as the company's branding, even down to the wrapped fake presents.
